Time. I need more of it.

There are not enough hours in the day for all of the things. Wouldn't it be great if you could be both a night owl and a morning person? Or maybe if we just didn't require any sleep at all? (Like sparkly vampires?)

knew I'd feel better if I could workout in the morning, so I've been trying for 3 goddamn weeks to wake up early, and I just couldn't make myself get out of bed. Life was all, SUP BITCH and busted a water pipe in my house. I had to turn the water off, which means no shower unless I go to the gym. (Or teeth brushing or going potty. I wiped my kid down with baby wipes. That's basically the same as a bath, right?)

Hello, 5am club. It only took me 2 cups of coffee to wake up. Win?

Two days in a row I've done this shit. I'm kind of into it. (twss)

Life will give you what you ask for from it. I needed help waking up early, and I got that help. What do YOU need? (Don't even say a million dollars. Don't be that guy.)

P.S. This is also a great lesson in making lemonade out of lemons, no? The plumber is coming today, all will be well soon. The real test is whether or not I can still get up early tomorrow when I have running water at my house.


  1. I don't have a lot to say today. Glad you're making the best of it. This is more ore less a test comment to see if my tweaks yesterday fixed anything. If you need an obligatory twss I am sure Bobby will be along shortly to talk about pipes later on.

  2. I try every day to get in a morning workout. It happens maybe 1-2 times a week. Can't wait to see if this becomes a ” thing” for you!

  4. That's some dedication right there and I'm pretty sure that still wouldn't get me to the gym at 5am.
