The ish.

Do you know what my favorite thing about my healthy-ish lifestyle is? The ish. I worked hard to lose 70lbs and I work hard every day to keep it off and get stronger, but I'm also not going to be that asshole at the party that turns her nose up at the high calorie hors d'oeuvres. Ima eat that ish. That's basically the whole reason I eat so much healthy food in my daily routine - so I can seize delicious opportunities as they arise. This way I never have a cheat meal. I eat exactly what I want, when I want. It's not a diet, it's a live-it.

I can't help it that sometimes I want grilled fish and steamed veggies. That shit tastes good. I also sometimes want donuts. I'll eat one and done. Not 2. Not 7. One. Craving satisfied.

Usually I eat several small meals each day:

1st brekkie: coffee with peppermint mocha creamer because it tastes like Christmas
2nd brekkie: Greek yogurt with protein granola and fruit. 220 cals/22g prot
Snack: banana or apple and peanut butter.

Lunch: 2 veggie patties - no buns. 200 cals/20g prot
Snack: protein bar 170-270 cals depending on the brand/15-20g prot
Another snack (because I'm honest): popcorn. And maybe a couple of hard boiled egg whites.
Dinner: baked chicken and veggies or stuffed peppers or fish and veggies. Most are 200-300 cals and 20-40g prot.

So see? I have lots of room for ish. Like maybe I have a latte in the afternoon or share an ice cream sammich with my kiddo after dinner. Or when it's National Burger Day (according to Instagram). Oh, I'm DEF gonna eat that ish.
