How to fit it all in (twss)

I have a busy week this week. It's short, work-wise, but that sorta makes it worse, ya know? So how do you stay on that healthy train when your days are jam-packed start to finish? You don't, you just power through blindly and hope you make it. Just kidding, here's how I do it.

1. Get enough sleep. As in, probably don't stay up late writing blog posts (mission failed).

2. Find time for exercise. It's SO IMPORTANT. Just 30 minutes to get some endorphins going makes such a huge difference. Definitely DO NOT fall asleep on the couch while you rest for a minute before getting on your bike (mission failed).

3. Prepare like a boy scout. I have to make a to-do list for each day in addition to my master to-do list and shopping lists. Definitely make your to-do lists on several pieces of paper and in your phone to maximize disorganization (mission accomplished).

4. Plan and prep as many meals/snacks ahead of time as possible. Just kidding, put off going to the store til you don't have anything but pita chips and pop tarts in your pantry. Then, eat pita chips and poptarts for dinner because you're too tired to cook when you get home from the store (mission accomplished).

I am crushing this.

The thing is, I have SO MUCH to tell y'all about. Like how I done got swindled into coaching my kid's soccer team and the mural I painted a couple of weeks ago and the 5 pounds I gained but fully intend to lose because that ain't cute. (Step one, stop eating poptarts.) All that's just gonna have to wait though, because I have a really busy week at work and at home, our first soccer practice and game, general life stuff AND MY KID'S FOURTH BIRTHDAY PARTY HOLY SHIT. I can't even, he's so big and smart and silly and kind and he deserves the bounciest of houses and the superheroest of cakes and the bitchinest of gifts. So I gotta get all that done too. 

So ya know, sorry for sporadic posts for the next few days. Just check in with me every now and then to make sure I'm still alive, please and thank you.

  2. My kid's 4th is coming up , along with my baby's 1st. Who said that's ok?!? Not me, that's for sure.
